Kurtis Gruoner is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (7719) registered in California who has been practicing psychotherapy for two years. Kurtis is a graduate from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles where he received his Master of Arts degree in Counseling. Kurtis completed his undergraduate education at California Lutheran University where he received his B.A in Psychology with an emphasis in family and children development. After finishing grad school, Kurtis completed his intern experience working for U.S. vets as an intern therapist. Kurtis worked at various Community College Veteran Resource Centers and assisted veterans through transitioning back into civilian life. Kurtis’ experience consists of working in a residential rehab facility with clients that have co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. While being a part of Matt Rohr and Associates team, Kurtis has assisted adolescents in developing their social skills through TEEN LOUNGE, provided consistent quality care for his clients, and helped increase personal awareness. Kurtis’ experience ranges from depression, anxiety, substance abuse, relational issues, grief, emotional regulation, self-esteem, mood disorders, trauma focused, anger management, behavioral concerns, increase social skills, and identity issues. Kurtis is currently working towards becoming licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and enjoys working with adolescents, teens, and young adults. Robert Garcia is an Associate Marriage and Family Psychotherapist registered in California who has been practicing psychotherapy for 2 years. Mr. Garcia graduated from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena, California with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. Mr. Garcia completed his undergraduate studies at Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena, California in Human Development Across Lifespan. Mr. Garcia did his internship at Outreach Concern with children and teenagers in a school-based setting at Dolores Mission Catholic School in East Los Angeles, CA. Currently, Mr. Garcia has experience working with residential rehabilitation facility with clients that have co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. Mr. Garcia is an active volunteer in missionary work for the past 13 years, in assisting teenagers with their dreams and goals. Robert is currently working at Matt Rohr & Associates gaining his hours towards licensure and enjoys working with adolescents, teens, young adults, adults and families.
