Matthew Herrera is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT136003) registered in California. He obtained his Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California and completed his undergraduate studies at Humbolt State University. Before joining Matt Rohr & Associates, Matthew completed his traineeship with US VETS: Outside the Wire, where he primarily supported veteran college students transitioning back into civilian life. Matthew’s approach to psychotherapy is characterized by an emphasis of building a strong therapeutic relationship, being present in the moment, authenticity, and creating a relaxed atmosphere. Matthew employs a diverse set of therapeutic techniques, including mindfulness, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, Gestalt therapy, and somatic exercises. Currently on the journey towards licensure, Matthew enjoys working with adolescents, adults, young adults, college and graduate students, academics, and creative/entertainment professionals.


Robert Garcia is an Associate Marriage and Family Psychotherapist registered in California who has been practicing psychotherapy for 2 years. Mr. Garcia graduated from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena, California with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. Mr. Garcia completed his undergraduate studies at Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena, California in Human Development Across Lifespan. Mr. Garcia did his internship at Outreach Concern with children and teenagers in a school-based setting at Dolores Mission Catholic School in East Los Angeles, CA. Currently, Mr. Garcia has experience working with residential rehabilitation facility with clients that have co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. Mr. Garcia is an active volunteer in missionary work for the past 13 years, in assisting teenagers with their dreams and goals. Robert is currently working at Matt Rohr & Associates gaining his hours towards licensure and enjoys working with adolescents, teens, young adults, adults and families.


Jennifer Needham is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #130814) registered in California. Jennifer earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles. She did her internship at Outreach Concern in Los Angeles working with elementary school students who struggled with emotional, social, and behavioral issues. Jennifer’s experience ranges from anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, grief, low self-esteem, social anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions. Jennifer is psychodynamic orientated and uses an integrative approach to meet everyone’s unique needs while providing a compassionate, nonjudgemental therapeutic space. Jennifer is currently working towards licensure to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). She enjoys working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. Michael Robinson is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #136350) registered in California. Michael earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. He did his internship at Alameda Health System’s intensive outpatient program working with adults who struggled with chronic mental health issues. Michael’s approach to therapy is characterized by developing a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship with his clients while working collaboratively towards his client’s goals. Michael utilizes Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Object Relations, Gestalt and CBT. support to clients in a way that is relevant to each person’s challenges and unique life situations. Michael is currently working towards licensure to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). He enjoys working with teens, adults, and couples.
